i was wondering if there are any high schools that are english based in japan?and i was also wondering if there are any schools that do exchanges in japan from the usa that are in english?

As far as I know, the only high schools that are English-based are schools located on military bases & schools that are called "International Schools". The second of the later, "International Schools" are expensive!!! Roughly $30,000/year. Only the Rich /Elite attend these schools. But if you got the money, then you're in!

check out rotary exchanges, they arrange high school exchanges. and there are public high schools called super english language schools (SELhi) that have special english programs...not sure how advanced the programs are. definitely not english based though.
