Sushi Question

I was recently in Japan. While I was there, I ate sushi at the Tsukiji Fish Market. One of the pieces that I had was served along side the Uni piece and was built the same way, but instead of urchin roe inside, it had a ton of tiny white fish. I cannot find the name for this anywhere, so I figured I would ask here. They were very small (probably over 20 in the single bite).
