Does anyone know if Memory Lane and Piss Alley are still their? Their was talk that they were going to face the demolition ball last year. I would love to go and see these alleys in March/April this year before it gets bulldozed. I am a fan of Bladerunner and would love to see these alleys.

howdy.
bladerunner was supposedly inspired by golden gai in kabukicho in shinjuku. these 2 or 3 streets of tiny bars are definitely still there and quite interesting.
piss alley i think was in yurakucho. while it is still there, i don't think it is as "downtown" as it use to be.

...Piss Alley is actually right next to Shinjuku station - between kabukicho and West Shinjuku. (It's not the easiest place to find though...)
