I'm living in Yokohama's Midori-ku. i was wondering if anyone knew a place where I could go to swim? I know that there's a pool at Tipness next to LaLaport, but it's quite expensive and gives no dicount for students.
If there's be any pool somewhere in Midori-ku or near Shin-Yokohama or Kikuna station I'd be greatful to know. :)

There is a public pool near Myorenji Station, which is right next to Kikuna Station. It's open during the summer only, I believe.

If you don't mind traveling to Shin-Yokohama, you can swim at Nissan Stadium for only 500 yen for the 1st hour (plus 200 yen for every 30 minutes extra). I'm afraid I can't find the English version of the pool info, but if you go to the stadium, you will find your way to the pool. http://www.nissan-stadium.jp/waterpark/Note, that in low-priced indoor pools, you usually need to wear a cap, and this pool is not an exception. Caps are also sold in the premises.
