Certificate of Eligibility wait time?

Hi guys,
I got to apply for a Certificate of Eligibility as I only found out that I have to wait a very long time to get one. My visa will run out in 2 months, will I get one in time to change my visa or am I in troble?
Please help me if you know how long I will need to wait for a Certificate of Eligibility?

Usually, a certificate of eligibility does not take two months, but it can happen. In that case, you would have to extend your current visa or temporarily leave Japan.
