hi I'm and Australian thinking of relocating from Singapore to Tokyo for work but need to ensure first that my 10-year-old daughter would settle in well there. Where are are expat schools located and what are the fees? Is there such a thing as after school care? Or apartment blocks with communal play areas or even a pools where she could meet friends? Appreciate any advice

Singapore has a reputation for being one of the easiest places to be an expat. Japan is not so easy. Furthermore, as a single mother, it will be challenging especially as there is no domestic helper program in Japan.
