Am I too old for skirt+knee socks look? 2009/8/23 03:59
I'm an 18 y/o 2nd yr uni student going to Japan for exchange program.

I love wearing bright pleated skirts along with busy, bold and bright knee high socks. Is this look still acceptable at 18?

That is a look that people associate more with girls in their early teens, but who says you have to conform? Wear what you like, people will be impressed by your individual style.

knee socks selection in Japan 2009/9/20 19:50
Good to know I am not too old for that look. I just bought a couple more.

I am a UK size 5 (or US womens 8). Is there a good selection of bright n bold knee socks for me in Japan?

You will find a great selection of socks in Japan, the shop Tutuanna has lots! I saw all women from 18 to 30 wearing over the knee socks in Tokyo so you will fit right in! I bought lots of cool socks to bring home :)
