Punk rock in Tokyo/Kyoto

Hi Guys & Girls,

I am visiting Japan in May and have 3 weeks to spend between Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka and was just wondering the best pubs/clubs to go too and catch some punk bands? Or anywhere that plays punk music?

Also, how well will I fit in with Japanese Punks? Is it a close knit scene or are people fairly welcoming as I am travelling alone.

I had a great time in Antiknock in Shinjuku. Starts around six til about 10 o'clock.
Every day 3 or more bands, great sound, great people...little english..

Anytime mate - you may wan't to try Yoyogi park on a Sunday as you tend to have loads of different bands playing on the street - great experience :)

Earthdom in Okubo, Tokyo! alot of great live music.
