I ordered online through Travelex last time I went as they had the best rates at the time. You should check websites to find the best rate at the time you order. I have used Commonwealth Bank before and I have also heard that Australia Post has good rates.

I just changed some AUD on tuesday at australia post. if you get it in before 12 they have it ready for you the next day otherwise it takes 2 days.
The rate was okay, not the best, but if you order over $300 then they dont charge you a fee like most banks do
