On the road from Nara Station to Todaiji, along the main road of shops and restaurants once you pass into the pedestrian-only region of the dori, there was a side street, atrium-like as a covered alley. The perpendicular street was lined and busy with shops and several restaurants. Just two blocks up the street to the left was a stairway that led up to the 2F of a Chinese restaurant, layered with a rich Venetian red plaster, and several cube shabed open shelves between the rooms. This Chinese restaurant was actually really good, and I can't remember the name... Anyone know it? The interiors were quite atmospheric, more atmospheric than most places, due to the lighting and colors.
Anyone know now I can find out the name of this establishment?
