Ume kombu tea

I was recently in Japan and the Hotel Pacific in Tokyo had an ume kombu tea in the room (free). It was delicious! Looked for it all over, but couldn't find it in any store. At the Golden Pavilion Temple and the Kiyomizuzaka shopping area in Kyoto, there were vendors offering samples of a similar tea. They sold them in flat envelopes (15 per small 525 yen/30 per large 1000 yen). Does anyone know if it's sold anywhere in the U.S.? I live in the Los Angeles area.

You can find it at any Japanese supermarket in US. I don't remember what you have down there but I bought mine at Nijiya in San Francisco Japan Town.

Yes, I have seen this Gyokuroen Konbu-Cha Kelp Tea on a few websites. I will go to the Marukai and Nijiya stores in downtown L.A. I bought something similar at Takashimaya, but it was more for broths/soups, not as good as the tea.
