Japanese Voice Lessons

Are there any resources on the internet that can help me learn the Japanese style of singing? I already have the pronunciation down, but there is something missing when it comes to the differences in western and Japanese voices.

I don't think there is any Japanese-specific voice training method. There are those who can sing, and others who can't, even among singers. In my personal view, those who sing in squeaking voices (not from the belly but from the throat) are those who can't sing properly :) Voice training schools here in Japan try to teach you the proper breathing and singing, the same way as the western schools.
