Is there a good Japanese BBQ or a cheap one around the Shinjuku area?

Or any other around Tokyo someone can recommend?

I would strongly recommend Mori-no Beer Garden.

Unfortunately, it is closed until May. I don't think there are outdoor BBQ spaces available in winter season.

If you want good in terms of taste, then Jojoen is one of the best but it's quite expensive.
