Tea Cup Toy Poodle breeder 2011/2/5 18:28
Hello Everyone.

I hope I can find some help here, about where and how I could possibly find breeders that could sell a teacup toy poodle! (In Tokyo)

I have been looking at pet shops until now and because I don't want to support pet shops I would appreciate any help to find a proper breeder.

Thank you.

Hi sabreena

I wouldn't normally be able to offer any advice on such a topic but happily for you, we've just had a client who bought a Teacup Poodle while in Japan...

This is where she bought it :

シンシアドックハウス(Shinshia dog House)

Hope this will help!

First of all, there is no such breed as a Teacup Poodle.
Standard - Miniature - Toy: anything else is a marketing scam to charge you more money.

Second, some of the top breeders sell directly to (and in some cases) have exclusive distribution agreements with the pet shops.

While I agree Japanese pet shops can be horrible in many cases, you should be careful to check the background of both the pet shop and the breeder supplying the dogs.

There are many unscrupulous breeders and shops that use various types of amoral tactics and standards to move pups and ridiculous prices.
