Favorite childhood Japanese traditions 2011/2/11 15:55
What are your fondest memories?

I would like to celebrate the most enjoyable ones for my children who are still very young.

What specific activites, things received/watched, decorations, or any other things that made it special and memorable do you recall as being your favorites?

Thanks for any input!

Thanks for the sites! I'm also looking for personal favorites. What made it an especially favorite memory for you if you celebrated it as a child. I'm trying to see through the eyes of a child and see what made it so memorable.

Like for me, there are lots of childhood holidays/traditions that we celebrated, but I have the ones that are my own favorites.

Also, for certain holidays like Christmas, within this holiday, there are tons of activities/things to do, but I enjoy certain ones more than others.

So I was just wondering, personally, for those of you who celebrated Japanese holidays/traditions, which ones you liked the most and why.
