Clubbing In Tokyo? 2011/3/1 12:42
I'm a 20 year old guy who's not so club experienced and I'm wondering what are some good night club and bars to check out in Tokyo. I've heard womb is a good one. Any recommendations or tips for me?

ageha (japanese for the big butterflies you get here) is very large (maybe the biggest in tokyo?) and has a variety of nights to suit different tastes in music and different kinds of people.

ageha.com

They have a few different rooms, outdoor pool with a bar, outdoor food trailer area. Occasional secret live performances from big stars that are on tour in japan. I heard Madonna, NERD etc have done secret (unannounced) live performances there before.

BUT...
Japan is better for specialty, and niche clubbers. So ageha is not the truest reflection of what japan has to offer because it is more of a western style superclub.

Difficult to recommend somewhere without knowing more about you, your taste in music and what you want from a clubbing experience.
to just enjoy music? enjoy dancing? make friends? socialise with existing friends? find a girlfriend? find a boyfriend? enjoy a lonely drink?, enjoy a funky interior design?
all of the above?
