I am a lesbian, and was wondering if anyone knew of any spots that are gay/foreigner friendly in Hokkaido and Tokyo. Thanks!

It's actually ni-chome which is the gay-friendly area in Shinjuku- not sure about the lesbian scene there.
Kabuki-cho is the red light district, it's in a different part of Shinjuku.
