Real clubbing in Fukuoka

Hi, I'm gonna be in Fukuoka for the next year

I would like to know what the clubbing scene is like; beyond the sam & dave bs, and top 40s crap that I know all to well (and avoided like the plague) from the last time I lived in Tokyo/Osaka.

Are there many/any real clubs there, where people go for the music and dj's??

No disrespect to anyone intended, each to their own. I'm just not going to shell out 2000en on shite music when I'm not looking to pick anyone up anyway

I would take it due to the lack of replies that either no one on this forum knows of any such clubs, or they go to the ones I mentioned before.

I'm going to be visiting Fukuoka in October for a few days and was also looking to hit a club at some point.

I've came across a few online, but don't know whether they are good or crap........Would be good if someone could recommend a few worth going to.
