Buying a Japanese Keyboard in the UK 2011/8/28 11:53
Hi guys!

I recently finally decided to take on something I've always want to do - move to Japan and live there (I'm sure you've seen many of these!).

The first step of this is obviously to learn the language ^_^, which I've started through Rosetta Stone (Anyone have any more recommendations?). RS has been very helpful and much better than the language classes at school haha :)

Anyway, I realize the best way to learn a language is to immerse yourself in it as much as you can, and upon this I decided to turn my whole computer, which I spend most my time on, into Japanese, including websites I use etc etc.

One more thing I want to do is have a Japanese Keyboard, however I can't seem to find many of high quality on UK websites, to make it even more complicated (D:) I also want a gaming keyboard... As I do much gaming on my PC.

I've found one on Amazon.JP I can buy (Sidewinder X4), but first I thought I would check up to see if there is any website based in the UK that sells Japanese equipment, so I can get quicker/cheaper delivery and a place to buy future equipment from, I had a fairly long search around the web and found none unfortunately :(, also, any UK-Based Japanese Store for general products is of-course very helpful. (I also found the Sidewinder X6 interesting but it doesn't seem to be manufactured anymore and it's sold out everywhere, in at Japanese stores)

So, to summarize!:
1) Good tools to learn the language? Is Rosetta Stone a good choice?
2) A good quality Japanese keyboard?
3) Any UK online stores w/ delivery which specialize in Japanese products?

And, any general tips are much appreciated!

Many thanks everyone!

Took me less than a minute to find:

Not cheap, but UK based.

Also, check eBay, here's a "Buy It Now" for about half the price:

I used this website... 2011/9/2 02:11
I also wanted to learn Japanese and since I am a Mac user, I bought one from the following site:

http://www.flutterscape.com/search?s=keyboard

I got lucky because I got one from the top seller so I got it within 4 days with reasonable shipping fee

If you are specific of what keyboard you want, I love their request feature as well:
