How to ask if they're interested, politely? 2011/10/16 00:50
How would I ask if a person is interested in something politely? For example, if I was asking them if they want to go attend an event, or go someplace?

Saus,

It depends on the context and how distant you want to be. These are mere examples.

[destination or purpose] nante
kyoumi arimasuka?
(Are you interested in something like ...?)

Kondo issho ni ikimasenka?
(Would you like to go with me some time?)

or

Kondo kouiu no ga arundesu.
(Something like this is coming up.)

Yokattara kite kudasai.
(Feel free to come.)

Note that for business use, you should be a bit more formal.
