Hi! I want to send a postcard to my friend in Japan, and I'm in Washington,USA right now.
How would i write my friend's address on the postcard? Is it OK if i write it in japanese or do i have to write it in english? Thanks!! :)

You don't need to write in English. Write it in Japanese and write "Japan" at the end.

When I send post to my Japanese penpal, I write her name and address in English, like this:

Name
Number neighbourhood/area
City Prefecture Postcode
Japan

If you want to write it in Japanese, I believe the order should be reversed (first line would be postcode and prefecture, last would be name). Feel free to correct me on this, though.
