Danielle I finally bought an all English Toshiba Satellite from Mercantile in Osaka. I bought from them before, so finally decided that Nagoya is hopeless and better go there again. I actually went to Osaka, as I wanted to deal face to face, but you don't have to. Their English-speaking staff can and do take most orders over the phone, and they seem very on the ball and efficient. I paid around 140,000 yen for a Toshiba Satellite with Norton Security and XP Pro (English). They installed my own Word 2003 which saved a bit. Glad you had your computer :) I had another solution here: Buy a Mac, then install Win XP on a partition, so you can use both.
