Thats true its stamped into your passport, I was thinking in cases where people "lose" their passports and get a replacement one with new stamps.
But that should all be in their computers anyways.
Exit Immigration doesn't take a look at your e-tickets other then process you out of Japan, but even if you return within 1-2 weeks they know when the last time you left (again, its in the system, and your passport when you left).
The runs to Korea/Hong Kong/China etc are so old Immigration Officers usually know whats up, combined with when your last trip out was, and how long your previously stayed in Japan.
Just be prepared to answer questions. The outcome depends as Sira mentioned.
