when I was studying Mandarin in the Air Force, my instructors gave me the name 赵u强, pronounced zhao4 zhi4 qiang2, i think (i'm kinda tone deaf), and i was wondering what that is in Japanese.

Simplified Chinese characters are tricky - the first one in Joey's post seems to be k, pronounced "yo-u" in Japanese. Given name i is pronounced "ke-i," but I cannot find the corresponding for the second character in your given name. Maybe it is θ? Then it is "ya."

I see that the poster who asked a question about his name on 2011:7/17 02:40 found out (on another forum) that the traditional form of the kanji used in his name is ζβ, pronounced "cho-u."

Hi! My brother and I are very interested into knowing our Japanese name and how it would sound like. Can you guys help us please?
ΣPυ Family/last name/surname: Σ Given name/first name: Pυ
ΣPF Family/last name/surname: Σ Given name/first name: PF
My brother's F is the first character of the word 'universe' in chinese. It might be hard and tricky but please help us.

Yea I've been wondering about how my chinese name would be read in Japanese for a while now if anyone could help that'd be great.
My family name is δο and my given name is ϊ

A great number of characters used in Chinese language are not comprehensible because they do not exist in Japanese kanji usage.

Hello, my Chinese name is ½v瑋. I would like to know how to pronounce it in Japanese, especially the ½ of my surname. v瑋 would be pronounced shi-i I guess? Probably my name sounds quite awkward in Japanese c
