*Fireworks sizes are traditionally named using "numbers" or "shaku," a Japanese length measure. In this ancient system, a standard size is called "sun", which is smaller than a "shaku." One sun is about 3cm, so a 3-sun diameter firework ball, approximately 9 cm, is known as a No. 3 ball. A shaku ball is 10 sun or No. 10 ball, and 2 shaku ball is 20 sun or No.20 ball.
