Hodaigi is the largest resort in the Minakami area, which is the closest “real” snow area to Tokyo. Just 70 mins on a bullet train will transport you to the winter wonderland of Minakami.

The snow depth in Minakami is always in the top 10 in Japan but the area is still relatively unknown to international tourists = amazing snow conditions, uncrowded slopes.

Hodaigi is the perfect family resort, with a great mix of terrain options, international ski school, childcare, play zones and a selection of restaurants.
