One of Greater Vancouver's most attractive hanami spots is located just next to the parking of Burnaby Mountain Park. Over a dozen of beautiful Yoshino trees are located in the park which is even equipped with pick nick tables for people who mind sitting on the floor below the trees. Probably due to the altitude, the trees are well behind the schedule of other Yoshino trees in the Vancouver area, and have only just started to open their blossoms. Full bloom can probably be enjoyed during next week.
