Tamanonada Kotonowaka Chiyotaikai Musashimaru Akebono Kaio Miyabiyama Takanohana Chiyotenzan KotoryuComment: After losing 7-7 on the first day because his highest winning wrestler was higher ranked than his opponent, my Day 8 opponent has placed a very low ranking rikishi in the 1 slot every day and, although it hasn't directly caused him to win, he has been quite successful. I suppose our strategies have been quite similar thus far. Today, I put my picks in without studying the opponents history beforehand (first time since day 1). Then, after studying his picks I reopened mine to edit them. Funny thing was that I didn't need to make any changes. The three M's (Musashimaru, Musoyama and Minatofuji) did me in yesterday. Today I worry more about Kotoryu, Kaio and Kotonowaka. I wanted to pick Aminishiki just to rub it in against Jumonji but I felt slightly better about Chiyotenzan.
