Natsu Basho 2025 - Day 9
Of yesterday's two leaders, Yokozuna Pandaazuma won his bout while Kaito lost his. The Yokozuna is back in the sole lead with a day-nine kachikoshi. Kaito, Kotosho and Patikoyama are one win behind and will be hoping for their eighth win tomorrow.
Chocshoporyu and Oyama are vying for Juryo glory with seven wins but they'll need to keep winning as seven players lie in wait just behind them. And in Makushita Rikioi, Pepenohana, Kamibakka, Suifu and Hidari all lead with 8 wins.
Ozeki Kakushoyamaii slipped up yesterday but returned to winning ways today to go 6-3. He needs five out of six for the rope.

Natsu Basho 2025 - Day 7
As we approach the midpoint of the tournament Yokozuna Pandaazuma takes the sole lead in Makuuchi as Patikoyama slips up. Patikoyama shares second place with Kaito and Tochinojo.
Chindonya and Bolo lead Juryo with six wins. And, very unusually, there are no unbeaten players left in Makushita. A mass of 14 hopefuls have 6-1 records.
Ozeki Kakushoyamaii continues to impress and is 5-2 on his Yokozuna quest. He needs to go 6-2 in the remaining 8 days.

Natsu Basho 2025 - Day 4
Yokozuna Pandaazuma is unbeaten along with four Maegashira players. Ozeki Kakushoyamaii fell to a first loss (thanks to Hoshoryu) on his yokozuna quest but he still has a very healthy 3-1 record. Eight more wins to go.
Chindonya and former Komusubi Chishafuwaku lead Juryo with four wins. And twelve remain unbeaten in Makushita.

Natsu Basho 2025 - Day 2
Welcome to the Natsu tournament. We have equaled the 212 active participating players we had in March so thanks to everyone for playing.
Ozeki Kakushoyamaii is on a yokozuna run, just like Onosato. He needs 11 wins and is off to a perfect 2-0 start. Komusubi Ganzohnesushi returns to sanyaku after a 7.5-year absence. He's 1-1 at early doors.
Day two saw some high scoring and the lead is shared by eleven hopefuls, including Yokozuna Pandaazuma, Ozeki Kakushoyamaii and Sekiwake Kiriazuma. Juryo and Makushita are still forming their leader groups.
Good luck to all the players!
