Nagoya Basho 2025 - Day 14
After a good day for almost all the leaders we have five players with 10-4 records. None of them will fight each other tomorrow so scoring will likely decide the tournament. And that's also very close. | Sagi wrapped up the Juryo yusho a day early with another win. Katoomaru and Gustl both won in Juryo and will meet in a death match tomorrow to decide the winner. | And good news for Yokozuna Yumezukuri, who today cleared his kadoban tab. He has scored well this tournament and deserves to be in the yusho race.

Nagoya Basho 2025 - Day 13
All three leaders lost on day 13 so it's a free-for-all with six players in the lead on 9-4 records, including Yokozuna Pandaazuma and Yokozuna Kakushoyamaii, who face each other on day 14. Scoring is also very close so we should see an exciting end to the tournament. | In Juryo Sagi lost and Chishafuwaku is back within one win of the leader. And Katoomaru also lost in Makushita to allow Gustl back into contention. A large group of 11 is one win back. | Sekiwake Kitakachiyama's Ozeki run has sadly come to an end and in fact he is now battling to avoid a losing record, up against yusho contender Barusho today.

Nagoya Basho 2025 - Day 10
Former Sekiwake Flohru was only member of the leading pack to emerge victorious and he now leads the division with a nice early winning record to celebrate. A group of seven is waiting for a slip-up. | Sagi is still undefeated in Juryo and is now two wins clear after Chishafuwaku lost. And Tochinoshin is 10-0 in Makushita and is also the sole leader there. Four hopefuls are one win off the pace. | Sekiwake Kitakachiyama's ozeki run is still alive after a notable scalp (Yokozuna Kakushoyamaii) today. He still needs four wins out of five so will have his work cut out. He faces fellow Sekiwake Sumio tomorrow, and that is always a tough bout.

Chishafuwaku is in dogged pursuit one win behind. And Tochinoshin along with Multimikstar are the only remaining unbeaten players in Makushita.

Nagoya Basho 2025 - Day 2
Welcome all to the Nagoya basho. We have a new Yokozuna on both the real and virtual dohyo. Welcome to Yokozuna Kakushoyamaii, who was deservedly given the rope after an impressive run of form and a yusho as the cherry on top. Sekiwake Kitakachiyama is on an Ozeki run and he needs 10 wins to get the nod. He is off to a perfect start as well so hopefully he can keep that going. | This is the third tournament in a row we have had a record 212 participating players. Many thanks for playing the game and good luck to everyone this tournament.
