February 15, 2012 - Magic Garden
The Japanese tranquil garden is something of loud shout of silence to me. For a moment everything stands still. Someone moves past. Shadows float. A leaf drops. And still, everything stands still. Impregnable. For seconds. Or decades. The Ginkakuji-Temple in Kyoto keeps one of my favorite gardens. Nothing special. Nothing exceptional. A long way and a lot of work. Concentration, keen eye, care. For centuries. But dont mention it. Impregnable.
