Matsumoto/Gunma sakura illumination 2013/3/22 01:37
I'm sorry but I can't find my earlier post.

I'm one of those travelers caught by the early sakura bloom in Tokyo and looking for alternative places to see sakura. I'm hoping to see sakura illumination. I'm using the JR East pass and will be visiting places like Matsumoto and Gunma. I found this website

http://www.go-nagano.net/blog/?p=1003

Can someone please help to point out the "Matsumoto illuminated corridor" on Google map? It mentions somewhere between Metoba river and Chitose bridge?

Also, can you kindly suggest other places that is easily accessible by train from Tokyo to see sakura between Apr 8~12?

Thanks

If you are talking about the Matsumoto castle, here is the cordinate value to pin-point the location on the google map. It is in a walking distance from Matsumoto station.
