Onsen Resorts around Tokyo and Kyoto

I will be spending around a week in Tokyo and Kyoto, would like to know recommended Onsen resorts that can be easily reached from both (say 2 hours travel or less).
I would be looking for an Onsen with nice scenery and if possible would like the whole Onsen resort to be scenic too (I know some places are very built up and industrial looking).
