How long to see Chikurinji and Bot Garden?

How long do you recommend to see Chikurinji Temple and Makino Botanical Garden?

I only have 2 hours. Is it enough or will I have to rush?

Preferred travel pace varies dramatically between individual travelers.

Fast paced travelers may be able to see both places within two hours (not including access, of course). But medium to slow paced travelers will likely find two hours insufficient.

I was there today - I used the My-Yu Tourist Bus which arrived at the entrance to Chikurinji at about 9:30 - I went up to the temple and also to the garden and Treasure House. Then I stopped for a quick snack on my way to the Botanical Garden. I stayed there until a bit after noon when I took the bus to Katsurahama. You could do it all in two hours but you might be rushing a bit. Enjoy!
