Ice Cream City and Gyoza Town 2013/9/15 22:24
I am very disappointed that the old Namja Town closed!

What is the new one like?

Is the Gyoza town still there and is it like the old one (in the style of a street with lots of stalls?)

And what about the icecream? I know there is a dessert selection, but what about the Cup Museum??? Are there still lots of crazy flavours to eat?

Please let me know if it worth making the visit all the way to Ikebukuro. Is it better or worse than the old Namja Town?

The Gyoza town is better than the old one. Nice atmosphere. But the ice cream corner got replaced by a small number of stands that sell deserts in general rather than ice cream. I did not see any stand that sold crazy flavors but I may have missed it.

Is it better or worse than the old Namja Town?

In my personal opinion, the new one was slightly better than the old one.
