Habu 2013/12/7 10:55
I'd like to hear stories of experience with Habu while in Okinawa...Some people say the threat in summer is so serious that hiking is not recommended. I'm hoping that's not true...

In recent years, the number of people dying from habu bites is typically zero per year. And those that get bitten are mostly farmers working in the field. You are far more likely to be involved in a traffic accident.
