Hi, I am interested in getting Hidaji Furii Kippu (Rail & Okuhida Bus Course) pass for my trip from kyoto to Gero, Gero to Takayama, Takayama to Shinhotaka ropeway. Can anyone advice do this cover the whole trip including the ropeway round trip?

No. The ticket is not available from Kyoto. Only from around the Nagoya area. You would have to travel to the Nagoya area first.
Also, the Shinhotaka Ropeway is not covered, although you qualify for a discount of 10% during summer or 20% in winter.
The rest is covered.
