Buses between Magome/Tsumago and Gujo 2014/1/15 13:20
Thank you for your site and assistance.

In May I would like to stay overnight in Magome (do the walk) and then go on to Gujo to visit.

While I appreciate that the 4 hours of trains between these two places would be pleasant, I'm wondering if anyone knows if there is a bus service of any kind?

If not, then should I rent a car? Are the roads in this region not TOO mountainous? I know it's a valley so feel a little silly asking this question.

The train trip from Nakatsugawa to Gujo takes about three hours with good connections:

Alternatively, you could take buses from the Magome service area to Nagoya and then from Nagoya to Gujo:
