Hakone Free Pass validity

I am purchasing a 2 day Hakone Free Pass inside the hakone area (Mishima), we will then travel the next day from Gora to shinjuku. I know if you purchase a pass from Shinjuku the price includes around trip there and back, however will the pass still be valid for the trip between Gora and Shinjuku on the Hakone Tozan Railway and the Odakyu Limited Express the next day?

If the travelers bought the Pass at Shinjuku Station, there is a need to go back to Shinjuku within the validity period of it. The round-trip of Odakyu line is included within the validity period.
I think it's you know, I think if you bought it in the Hakone area, such as Mishima, that there is a need to buy a separate ticket from Odawara to Shinjuku.
