For other days please advice. How is the closest it can come at a nuclear power plant in Fukushima? We visited Chernobyl. would like the aseptic zone at Fukushima. 21 day jrpass. What pass for Kyoto buy a bus? thanks

If I were you, I would combined the part from Jan 12 to 17 to that you don't have to commute back to Tokyo each day, but stay over in Aomori, then travel back down south each day (staying over in each city one night each) back to Tokyo.

As the user above said, don't commute so much in your last days, you'll make a much better use of your time if you head to Aomori and you do Aomori, Sendai, Fukushima and Nikko in this order.
