Alt to Towadako boat? (from Nenokuchi)

Hi,
As the ferry going from Nenokuchi to Towadako has been discontinued, I'm wondering which options exist to travel between these points to use the sightseeing boat.
I know that JR Bus is one of them, do we have other options?

The other options are taxi or rental car. The bus is probably still the best option if you are a small group, but a group of four might find it more economical to take a taxi instead.
