Late Night at Hakodate

I have two options:
1. Train ride that arrives in Hakodate at 2:58 am
or
2. Train that arrives at 10:15 am
I want to visit the morning market in Hakodate and it opens at 5 am. I was wondering if I arrive at 3 am, is there a place I can wait at the Hakodate Station or a place nearby until 5 am? I don't want to get a hotel because I won't be sleeping, I just a place to keep warm. Or is it better to visit the morning market at 10:15 am. Please let me know your input.
P.S. I am a woman.
