Nagoya Airport to Tokyo by Train

I will be travelling in Japan on August 30, 2015 and we will arrive to Nagoya Airport around 8:00PM. I want to know the safest way to go to the train station in Nagoya going to Tokyo. What type or name of Shinkansen train should we choose if we are going down to Tokyo Station? Appreciate your response.

Why NGO?
Change flight to NRT or HND.
If no direct find via another country as transit.
