Bus reservation to Mt.Aso

I and my friends have plan for a day round trip to Mt.Aso starting from Hakata to Aso station, then take a bus to Asosan-Nishieki and take Mt.Aso ropeway to Nakadake Crater.
Do we need to make a bus reservation?
Any website in English version ?

I don't know about the bus reservation but i can tell you that you won't be able to take the ropeway to go to the crater. The access to the crater is forbidden on 1km because of the eruption.
