Kawaguchiko - Fujiten Ski Resort 2015/1/21 14:34
Hi there,

We plan to visit Tokyo on Feb 8-11. We want to visit Kawaguchiko Lake to see Mt Fuji then go to Fujiten Ski Resort. If the time is possible, we would also want to go to Gotemba Factory Outlet.
Would we be able to make it on 1 day trip? How can we book the ticket?

On the time we visit Kawaguchiko, will there be snow to play around? My kids just want to play around with snow, so in case we find snow in Kawaguchiko we may skip Fujiten Resort. Please kindly advise.

Thanks for your help.

Regards,
Imelda

Fujiten does not have public transportation so you'd either have to rent a car or use taxis to get there. I was at Lake Kawaguchiko last week and there was quite a bit of snow on the ground due to a big snowstorm, so you might get lucky and be able to play without having to travel to a ski resort. Afterwards there are buses to the Premium Outlets in Gotemba. Still that is a lot for one day. You can probably do 2 of the 3 so maybe hope for snow on the ground.

How can we book the ticket?

Regular tickets on bus/train are probably cheapest. There are several transfers and companies involved that depend on the particular route that you take.
