Kansai-Thru vs JR Pass or JR West Pass 2015/1/28 03:00
I'll be arriving at Kansai Osaka Aiport, and will be staying in Wakayama. I plan to visit Osaka on a daily basis and will be in the area for about 6 days.

I am leaning towards getting the Kansai-Thru Pass because it is the most economical I was told I should get the JR Pass. Any advice on this? Most of my travels will probably be between Wakayama and Osaka or even Wakayama and Kyoto.

The main advantage of the Kansai Thru Pass is that it is also valid on the subways and buses in Osaka and Kyoto. The main advantage of the JR pass is that it is faster for travel to Kyoto.

I recommend the Kansai Thru Pass.
