Best time to go to Tokyo Disneyland?

My friends and I will be in Tokyo between May 8 to May 16. Since it falls towards the end of Golden Week and during Sanja Matsuri and Kanda Matsuri, I wanted to know if it would be better to go to Tokyo Disneyland during the weekday or during the festivals (assuming more people would be at the festivals).

Golden Week is before you get there. It's always insane to go to Tokyo Disneyland, but it isn't quite as insane on a weekday.
