Can I use a Kansai Thru Pass as a guide? 2015/4/24 14:37
I'm going to Osaka in June.
I'm wondering that can I use a Kansai Thru pass as a guide?

surutto.com says about who can use this pass
1. A foreign tourist visiting Japan from abroad on a [short stay] entry status.
2. A Japanese national living abroad.
3. A person accompanying those who meet the requirements 1 and 2 above as their guide.

Since I am a student here in Japan, so I have a student visa, but I'm going with my sister from Thailand, who will get a short stay entry status. So, am I be able to get pass with requirement no.3?

If I can get it, do I need to show any proof shown that I'm going with a person who holding a tourist visa? or just go buy together?

Thank you in advance.

Probably not as you'll likely need to show proof that you are a licensed foreign-language guide to purchase the pass.
