Sell car back to Honda?

I bought a Honda Mobilio/Spike from the dealer 9 years ago. I plan to leave Japan soon, so wonder if they will buy it back despite its age. Only 3,000k per year, so hardly used, and maintained by them regularly. Any hints on what I might expect cashwise also welcome.

Depends on the dealership. Some car dealers may not buy back an old car unless they are selling you a new car at the same time, so you may be better off going through a used car dealer instead. FYI, a 9 yr old car is pretty old despite it's low mileage. On the other hand, the prices I'm seeing for used cars of similar condition are around 50-800,000 yen. Expect less if selling to a dealer.
