Hi,
I visited Cape Nagasakibana last year and loved the vast view of ocean and surrounding area.
I would like to revisit but since it is a bit far away (took me roughly 3 hours from Hakata station) I was wondering if there might be any places like that with similiar climate zone?
How about Izu hanto or southern Shikoku?

Izu peninsular is pretty nice. So is Miyazaki;s coast. And Ito peninsular. I'm pretty sure there is a white light house too. Japan is the land of the rising sun. The coastal areas are wonderful.
I especially loved Wakayama/Kumamo/Ise coastal line
